History

The Chairman of the Perth Road Board, Mr Harry Shearn, MLA, officially opened the Alexander Park Tennis Club on 17 October 1935.

Since then the club has grown from the intitial 14 grass courts to 22 grass, 2 plexipave and 2 synthetic grass courts.

Thanks to the efforts of our hard working greenkeepers and ground's committees, Alexander Park has developed a reputation for having the best grass courts in WA, and has become a preferred venue for many top tournaments.

Alexander Park has been lucky enough to have players such as Pat Rafter, Mark Phillipousis and Wayne Arthurs play on our courts.

Are you ready to become the next star to grace the courts of Alexander Park Tennis Club?
